Authentic Mango & Ginger Chutney

A ploughman’s is the classic summer pub lunch and our Yorkshire Ploughman’s Pickle is an immensely satisfying accompaniment. The rich fruity flavour that goes so well with cheese and bread comes from a mixture of apricots, dates and prunes. The background spice is a blend of ginger and allspice (allspice is the distinctive flavour in jerk cooking from Jamaica).

Our Farmhouse Chutney is a family favourite that’s based on an old recipe. We’ve no idea of its origins, but it’s a classic English chutney that tastes rich and satisfying. Packed with enough ingredients to create at least 2 separate chutney’s, this blend of vegetables, herbs and spices has a good level of acidity, balanced by sweetness – perfect for pork pies!
