  • Our Farmhouse Chutney is a family favourite that’s based on an old recipe. We’ve no idea of its origins, but it’s a classic English chutney that tastes rich and satisfying. • Our Spicy Tomato chutney has become a stalwart of the Blueberry Hill range. It has a very English-tasting mild spiciness, with mustard seed used instead of chilli. With the addition of sweet onion, it manages to deliver a powerful and rich taste, with a fresh tomato hit, without too much bite. A really good all-rounder that’s worth keeping in the fridge for any occasion.

  • Everyone makes a strawberry jam, but some are just better than others – and this is one of those jams. It’s not just the amount of strawberries we use, it’s the addition of a slug of prosecco that elevates its taste and makes it that bit different (it’s an old chefs trick). By sourcing quality strawberries at the right time of the season for jam, you also get a taste that’s bright and full-flavoured.

  • You’ll rarely see fig and cinnamon chutneys or preserves in the UK, but it’s a classic of Middle Eastern cuisine. We use the word ‘rich’ for our recipe because this chutney has a very mouth-filling flavour as well as being a bit exotic. It tastes wonderful with cold meats, cheeses and has enough ‘oomph’ to work well with game.

  • Our passion fruit curd has proved hugely popular. Compared to lemon curd, the flavour impact is huge, but deeply satisfying and never harsh. Perfect for waking up those jaded breakfast taste buds and makes a brilliant alternative to fruit purees when served with ice cream or plain yoghurt.

If you’ve bought Passion Fruit Curd before, please note the change in jar size. This has been forced on us in order to avoid increasing the price dramatically (or reducing quality). Basically, the premium ingredients in our curds have gone up in price a lot in the last couple of years. We hope you’ll understand.

It might seem like a way to make a black cherry jam sound a bit more interesting, but this really is a very decadent recipe and is a wonderful way to make a Victoria Sponge that people will remember.

It’s a fantastic partner to chocolate cake and makes a fine alternative to jam in raspberry tarts.
